Social media management is a grind.
Feeding the algorithmic beast feels like Phil Connors’ never-ending Groundhog Day.
“You need to be consistent”… but that takes nearly endless creativity and effort!
Whether you’re a small business owner trying to show up regularly, a marketing agency curating ideas for your clients, or simply need inspiration to get your creative juices flowing, following the right brands can transform your social media approach.
Why?
Well, instead of staring at that blank caption box, wondering what to post next, you can learn from brands that have mastered the art of authentically engaging their audiences, while staying true to their values and mission!
You don’t need a massive budget or a full creative team to implement their strategies. You just need to know where to look for inspiration, and then give those ideas the unique spin that only your brand can deliver.
Today, I’ve curated a list of brands that consistently deliver creative, engaging content across their platforms. Follow them, and you’ll be fed a constant stream of strategic examples from brands that have mastered the art of building community, telling compelling stories, and driving real business results through social media.
Social media doesn’t have to feel like a chore! Let’s explore some brands that are absolutely killing it online.
How to Save and Organize Your Social Media Inspiration
Real quick, before we get to the list…
What’s your plan for saving the best ideas? Do you have a swipe file?
Take a moment right now to pick a method for collecting great captions, designs, and video ideas that you can adapt for your own work. Here are some ideas; pick what works best for you:
Screenshots, then organize in your phone – Are you scrolling for content ideas on your phone, or do you scroll social media for fun? Take quick screenshots when you see content that catches your eye! Then, create a dedicated photo album on your phone to keep everything accessible.
Grab links to posts and save in your notes app / on your computer – Copy and paste URLs directly into a running document or notes app. You can even add quick notes about what specifically inspired you about each post.
“Save” feature on platforms – Most social platforms have built-in save features (Instagram bookmarks, Pinterest boards, LinkedIn saves) that let you quickly organize content without leaving the app. Just make sure you go back and organize them from time to time!
Use browser bookmarks – Create bookmark folders for different types of inspiration and save web-based content accordingly. Pro tip: Add descriptive titles so you can easily find what you need later.
Now, here’s the critical step: Set a calendar reminder or recurring task – weekly would be perfect – to transfer your ideas into action. Are you using a project management system? I recommend using a tool like Asana to create inspiration boards where you can categorize ideas, assign them to specific clients or campaigns, and even set deadlines for when you want to implement similar concepts.
Which of these works best in your personal workflow? Keep that in mind as you explore my list.
This list was created on February 15, 2026, and reflects my assessment of the quality of each brand’s content on that date.
